How do I know if I/my child needs an autism assessment?
If you’re noticing social communication differences, sensory processing challenges, or feeling like your own mind works differently than others, an assessment can provide valuable clarity. You don’t need to meet specific criteria to deserve answers – and you don’t need to wait a year for those answers.
Will insurance cover an autism assessment?
Most major insurance plans cover autism assessments, typically with standard copay requirements. We recommend verifying your network and benefit coverage with your specific insurance before scheduling so you know exactly what to expect, with no surprises.
What if the assessment doesn't show autism but I/my child still struggles?

Not meeting autism criteria doesn’t invalidate your concerns. Our comprehensive evaluation often identifies other conditions like ADHD, anxiety, or learning differences that explain your experiences, with immediate feedback and clear recommendations for support.

Is it worth getting assessed as an adult?

Many adults find tremendous relief in understanding their autism characteristics, even later in life. Your assessment results could allow you to start accessing workplace accommodations, community support, and unlock a deeper self-understanding.

Do you offer bilingual or interpreter services?
Yes! We partner with Language Services Associates to provide professional interpreter services at no cost to our clients. If you need language assistance during your appointment, let our team know when scheduling and we’ll make sure an interpreter is available.

  2. We’ll help answer basic insurance questions, but recommend verifying your network and benefit coverage with your insurance.
  3. We’ll schedule your in-person or online evaluation – often available within the same week.
  4. You’ll receive intake paperwork to complete before your appointment.

How do I pay my bill?

Insurance Coverage: We accept most major insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Quartz, Aspirus Arise, United Healthcare, Aetna, and many others. To verify your benefits and explain your coverage, we recommend verifying with your insurance provider.

Self-pay options: If you don’t have insurance, we offer competitive self-pay rates with payment plans and sliding scale pricing available for those who qualify.

 

How quickly can I see a professional?
We offer daytime, Saturday, and evening appointments, with same-week appointments often available. Your visit can be in-person or online, whichever you prefer or your schedule allows.
