If Focus Feels Impossible

No matter your age, struggling to focus, manage your impulses, or feeling over-active can be overwhelming and frustrating for you and loved ones. Many clients tell us they feel relief just scheduling the assessment. Finally, someone will listen without judgment and help you understand why things seem so much harder.

You Might Benefit from ADHD Assessments If You Experience:

  • Starting projects but never finishing them
  • Losing your keys, wallet, or important papers
  • Running late despite leaving “plenty of time”
  • Interrupting others or blurting out responses
  • Feeling restless during meetings or conversations
  • Others saying “you’re not listening” or “please pay attention”

Our ADHD Assessment and Treatment

At Behavioral Health Clinic, we’ve redesigned the evaluation experience to honor both your need for thorough answers and your desire to understand. You may qualify for our ACE assessment which combines evidence-based testing with immediate professional analysis for same-day feedback.

For those who do not qualify for ACE, we can still assess through many different evidence-based methods, but with results and feedback discussions taking place during follow-up appointments instead of same-day. For both assessment methods, our team creates a complete action plan focused on helping you succeed at home, school, and work.

Your ADHD Assessment Experience:

Initial consultation
Share your daily challenges and goals in a judgment-free environment. We listen to understand, not to diagnose.
Comprehensive assessment

Our evaluations feel more like problem-solving than “testing.” We assess how ADHD affects real-world functioning – from remembering appointments to managing relationships.

Regular Therapy Sessions:

Weekly or bi-weekly appointments in-person & online, and scheduled at times that work for you.

Official documentation
Receive detailed reports and accommodation letters for school or work – the legal documentation that helps access support.

Any questions?

What to Expect

What if I don't actually have ADHD? Will I feel embarrassed?

Many clients worry about this, especially adults. Here’s the truth: if you don’t have ADHD, that’s valuable information too. Our assessment can identify what IS causing your challenges and point you toward the right support. Either way, you leave with answers and a clear path forward.

Will getting diagnosed hurt my career or my child's future?

Your ADHD diagnosis is protected medical information. Employers and schools cannot access it without your permission. In fact, having official documentation often helps careers and academics thrive through legally protected accommodations like flexible deadlines and workspace accommodations.

How is this different from online ADHD tests or my doctor's quick screening?

Our 2-3 hour comprehensive assessment evaluates not just attention, but how ADHD affects your memory, organization, emotional regulation, and daily functioning. We provide detailed recommendations and ongoing treatment support. Not just a diagnosis and a referral somewhere else.

My child is bright and gets good grades - can they still have ADHD?

Absolutely. Many intelligent children mask ADHD symptoms through a ton of extra effort, anxiety, or natural ability. They may be working twice as hard as their peers just to appear “normal.” Our assessment identifies these hidden struggles and provides support to reduce their daily stress and how much extra effort is required to “fit in”.

Do you offer bilingual or interpreter services?
Yes! We partner with Language Services Associates to provide professional interpreter services at no cost to our clients. If you need language assistance during your appointment, let our team know when scheduling and we’ll make sure an interpreter is available.
