Zoё Bertz, LPC-IT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor- In Training and Certified Brainspotting Therapist. She understands that life can be challenging. Sometimes, we face adversity that creates anxiety, fear, and a sense of helplessness. It is hard to face that alone. Asking for help is a difficult and courageous thing to do. Zoё provides clients with support and guidance on their healing journey. She understands that healing happens in safe spaces and her goal is to create a safe place where her clients feel heard and validated, a place where they are comfortable exploring their strengths, building resilience, finding balance, becoming empowered, and leading happy and fulfilling lives.
Everyone has strengths that can help them through the healing process. It’s one reason Zoё takes a strengths-based approach to therapy. She helps clients understand their strengths, grow self-awareness, gain insights, and work through issues. She takes an integrated approach to counseling, drawing on Person-centered, Relational Cultural and Narrative models, as well as using Cognitive Behavioral and Internal Family Systems strategies.
Zoё knows that people are more than the problems they are experiencing. If you are encountering difficult life challenges, trying to manage anxiety or mental health issues, or wanting to talk about past experiences, Zoё is here to help. She works with adolescents and adults who have experienced a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, and grief. Zoё is a Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training and Certified Brainspotting Therapist. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in Art, from Edgewood College and a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Mount Mary University. Outside of therapy, Zoë enjoys paddle boarding, hiking, spending time with her friends and family, and connecting with nature.
