Taylor Krueger, LPC-IT

Licensed Professional Counselor In Training

Taylor Krueger, LPC-IT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor-In Training. She earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Crown College, where she also completed her Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Medicine and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. Taylor believes that healing happens best when people feel truly seen, heard, and accepted. She takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to counseling, recognizing that each person’s experiences, relationships, and environment shape who they are. Her goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe to be themselves, discover their strengths, and begin creating meaningful, lasting change.

Taylor enjoys working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both clinical and school-based settings. She has experience supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and behavioral challenges, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about helping children and adolescents build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and navigate life’s challenges with resilience. In addition to providing therapy, Taylor also supports psychological assessment services, assisting clients and families in gaining a deeper understanding of their strengths, challenges, and treatment needs through the evaluation process. Prior to becoming a counselor, Taylor worked as a behavioral therapist, social skills coordinator, and Level II provider for the Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) program in Minnesota. She has also recently completed advanced certificate training in child and adolescent behavioral health.

Taylor believes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every client brings a unique story, and she tailors treatment to each individual’s goals, strengths, and needs. Her work is grounded in person-centered therapy while drawing heavily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and play therapy. She also incorporates techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, mindfulness, and family systems when they best support the person sitting in front of her. Taylor believes people are more than their diagnoses or the challenges they have faced, and she is passionate about helping clients discover their strengths, become the author of their own story, and build a life that reflects their values, hope, and resilience.
