Rachel Young, PsyD, is a Licensed Psychologist. She attended the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University-Chicago to earn her master’s and doctorate degree in clinical psychology. Her predoctoral internship was completed at the Child and Family Guidance Center in Los Angeles County. She then completed a two year post-doctoral fellowship at Marshfield Clinic Health System specializing in pediatric psychology providing assessment and consultation of children and adolescents in the medical inpatient setting and outpatient specialty clinics.
Dr. young provides psychotherapy and diagnostic evaluations. Dr. Young provides parenting support related to behavioral concerns, toileting issues, and separation anxiety for parents of younger children. She works with children and adolescents presenting with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, autism, ADHD, and trauma. Additionally, she enjoys working with children, adolescents, and their families coping with and adjusting to chronic medical conditions, chronic pain, and grief and loss.
Dr. Young is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), as well as the Society of Pediatric Psychology (APA Division 54).
In her free time, she enjoys arts and crafts, playing the piano and tennis, eating sushi, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
