Nicki Becker, LPC-IT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Training. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Education from Concordia University Wisconsin and her M.S. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Nicki also holds a certification in trauma-informed care and completed a reunification therapy certificate following graduation.
During her practicum and internship experiences, Nicki worked closely with families participating in supervised visitation services. She also served as a school-based therapist in the West Bend School District, supporting children ages 5 to 13. Her experience includes helping clients navigate ADHD, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, divorce, and complex family-system concerns.
Nicki’s primary goal is to meet clients where they are through a whole-systems approach that considers the relationships and environments influencing their well-being. Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), all through a trauma-informed lens. Nicki strives to create a compassionate and supportive environment where children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families can feel understood while developing skills that promote healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
