Michelle Ahrens, MS, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and a master’s degree in psychology from Walden University. She is currently working toward a doctorate in clinical psychology at Walden University.
Michelle brings significant experience from working with children and adolescents across various residential settings. She is deeply committed to empowering neurodiverse individuals, specializing in Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and chronic tic disorders. She utilizes a versatile, integrated approach to therapy, drawing from modalities including Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Therapy, and Humanistic Therapies to address challenges like anxiety, depression, and behavioral or school issues, while also providing affirming support to the LGBTQIA+ community.
Michelle is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Wisconsin Psychological Association.
