McKenna Crosby, APSW, is an Advanced Practice Social Worker. McKenna attended Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish. McKenna later received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) degree from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts.
McKenna has experience working with adults and adolescents from a variety of backgrounds and in multiple settings, including in-home, therapeutic mentoring, and outpatient therapy services. McKenna is a compassionate trauma-informed clinician that takes a humanistic strengths-based approach in her clinical work. McKenna employs modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Psychodynamic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) in her work with individuals. As a provider with lived experience within the LGBTQ+ community, McKenna has a particular interest in working with sexual and gender minority clients to address themes of identity development, dysphoria, and self acceptance.
