Bethany Jark, M.S., LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned her Master of Science degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virgina. Bethany has been providing mental health care since 2018. She has worked as a psychoeducator, in community programs, at an inpatient facility and in clinic settings and has a variety of experience working with clients across the lifespan. Currently at BHC, Bethany is working with those ages 18 and up.
With a trauma-informed care approach, Bethany utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and person-centered approaches as her main treatment modalities. She understands that everyone has different needs and therapy goals, therefore provides a tailored therapeutic approach for each client. Bethany enjoys working with trauma, anxiety, OCD and depression. She provides a safe, confidential, judgement-free, and friendly space for clients to do their most vulnerable work and gain the strengths needed to live their best lives.
Outside of work, Bethany enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, extended family and friends. She also loves to travel, cook & bake, is active in her church, likes to get in a good workout and spend time outdoors.
