Ben Bechle, MA, LPC, CSAC, NCC, is a licensed professional counselor and clinical substance abuse counselor. Ben has been practicing in the mental health field since 2021, and has experience in college counseling, private practice, and government agency work.
At the core of his practice, Ben is person-centered and believes in the Carl Rogers philosophy, “When I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Ben is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and integrates a few of his favorite interventions informed by other approaches to meet the client where they are at.
Ben’s primary goal is to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can express their thoughts and emotions freely. Whether you’re grappling with anxiety, depression, stress, or striving for personal development, Ben is here to walk alongside you. He develops rapport with clients by exploring their unique and individually lived experiences and implements interventions to empower clients to make meaningful change. In his work with couples, Ben is focused on enhancing communication, understanding, and connection. He recognizes relationships can be incredibly rewarding and deeply challenging. Through emotionally focused techniques and interventions, he will work on addressing conflicts, improving communication, and building a stronger emotional bond.
