Dr. Dorsey is a licensed clinical psychologist in Colorado who is approved to provide telehealth services through PSYPACT (see map here: https://psypact.site-ym.com/page/psypactmap). She earned her master’s degrees in Psychological Counseling at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York. She went on to earn her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver – Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Dorsey also holds a Primary Certificate in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy from the Albert Ellis Institute in New York.
Dr. Dorsey uses an integrated clinical approach with a foundation in Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). She prioritizes meeting patients where they are and working collaboratively to identify barriers to growth. Treatment is developed around individual needs with interventions from Behavioral, Cognitive-Behavioral, and Humanistic approaches with a trauma-informed lens. She believes in creating a safe space for genuine interaction and welcomes adults with diverse backgrounds and identities. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her Great Dane, sporting events and concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
