Lauri Doepke, MS, LPC, NCC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Lauri Doepke, MS, LPC, NCC, is a licensed professional counselor. She received her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from UW-Stout, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from UW-Eau Claire.
With more than a decade of clinical experience, Lauri has counseled individuals of varying ages and degrees of mental health needs. She has extensive experience in working with adolescents in residential and outpatient settings, as well as adults in an outpatient setting.
Lauri’s approach to therapy begins with a person-centered focus; building up the relationship and trust with each individual, then using a strengths-based, goal-oriented approach to build off of what has worked in the past and is currently working for the individual.
Lauri also favors cognitive-behavioral therapy as a treatment approach to challenge negative thought patterns that keep individuals stuck emotionally and cognitively. Lauri has found these methods to be effective in developing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport, and in meeting treatment goals outlined by individuals.
