Kristi Smith, LPC, SAS is a licensed professional counselor with a Substance Abuse Specialty. She earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling with focus on individuals with co-occurring disorders from Southern New Hampshire University.
Kristi has experience in working with adolescents and adults in a diverse population and currently works with clients ages 14 and up. She has experience conducting individual sessions, couple sessions, and family sessions.
Kristi primarily uses evidence based practice approaches using cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy-based skills, and solution-focused therapy. Kristi’s therapeutic approach is tailored to each individual depending on their needs, and you’ll find her approach to be warm, gentle, and light-hearted.
